What You'll Need
- A Google account that has access to Google Postmaster Tools
- At least one domain verified in Google Postmaster Tools
- Access to your Boxset dashboard (Integrations section)
- You must be actively sending emails to Gmail recipients (200+/day for data to appear)
Prerequisites: Google Postmaster Tools Setup
If you haven't set up Google Postmaster Tools yet:
Connect Google Postmaster to Boxset
You can manually trigger a data sync anytime by clicking the Sync Now button in the Reputation section of Analytics. This fetches the latest available data from Google immediately.
Understanding Your Data in Boxset
Once data starts flowing, Boxset displays these Google Postmaster metrics:
Troubleshooting
No data after connecting
- Google Postmaster Tools requires a minimum sending volume (~200 emails/day to Gmail) before showing data
- Data is 24-48 hours delayed — you won't see today's sending data until tomorrow
- Make sure your domain is verified in Google Postmaster Tools (green checkmark)
- Click Sync Now in Boxset to force a fresh data pull
OAuth connection expired
- Google OAuth tokens occasionally expire if unused for extended periods
- If Boxset shows a disconnected status, click Reconnect on the Google Postmaster card
- Re-authorize through the Google consent screen
Data shows for some domains but not others
- Each domain must be individually verified in Google Postmaster Tools
- Low-volume domains (under ~200 emails/day to Gmail) won't show data regardless of verification status
- This is a Google privacy protection, not a Boxset limitation
